Andy Forsberg
His work blends neoclassical textures, electronic sound design, and orchestral writing across film, television, and interactive media.
He has composed music for projects with Disney, National Geographic, BBC, Apple, History Channel, Discovery, Hulu, Lifetime, and Hallmark.
A percussionist and conductor, he is closely involved in the performance of his scores and productions, from the writing room to the podium.
His approach prioritizes emotional clarity, nuance, and attention to detail.
I approach scoring as an extension of story, not decoration.
The creative work begins by understanding tone, character, nuance and emotional intent—then finding a musical language that supports it clearly and precisely.
For me, production is all about helping artists sound like themselves—only more focused, more intentional.
That might mean building something from the ground up, or stepping in to refine, mix, or finish what’s already there. The process is collaborative, detail-driven, and always in service of the artist’s true creative vision.
My independent artist work lives outside of assignment.
It’s a sandbox for playing with ideas and approaches across a range of styles—a practice rooted in attunement and instinct, following ideas as they develop without the pressure of outcome. The result is music shaped by mood, space, and a touch of random chaos.
